The venue of AICS2016 is: Clarion Hotel Admiral Palace, Viale Pascoli 145, 47921 Rimini
Rimini is located on the Italian Adriatic coast and is well connected through the motorway A14 Bologna-Taranto "Autostrada Adriatica" (exit Rimini Sud; see www.autostrade.it), for those who are arriving by car, and the Bologna -Ancona railway (Rimini station; see www.trenitalia.com).
If you arrive by train, it is a nice 20-min walk from Rimini railway station to the Hotel Admiral Palace (take the route through Viale Regina Elena).
For those who are flying to Bologna International Airport, the best option is to take the shuttle bus, which will take you to Rimini railway station in 90 min. Check timetable and itinerary here. The cost for a single ride is 25 €. Tickets can be bought online at a reduced rate (20 €).
If departure times of shuttle buses are not convenient for you, then you can reach Bologna railway station (6 km from the airport) either by taxi or Aerobus service. Trains to Rimini are very frequent. The cost is around 10 € (single ticket) but it may vary depending on the service chosen. See www.trenitalia.com
Rimini "Federico Fellini" International Airport is only 6 km from the Hotel Admiral Palace. You can just grab a taxi then, it will not cost you more than 10 € (hopefully ...). If you want to spend only 1 €, then take the bus. Line 9 leaves just in front of the terminal. Stop at "via Settembrini 19" after a 15-min ride and then you have another 15-min walk to the Hotel. Or you can walk (again, 15 minutes) from the terminal to Viale Principe di Piemonte (Miramare Camp) and take bus 11, which will stop in Viale Regina Elena at the crossroad with via Pascoli, right in front of the hotel (ask the driver!). Don't forget to buy your ticket at the snack bar in the terminal and validate it on the bus using the yellow machines. However, not many of you will use this airport as very few connections are available.
If you are flying to Ancona International Airport, then you can take the train from Castelferretti station (just outside the terminal) to Ancona and from there you'll find frequent trains to Rimini.
