The aim of the Association is to promote and improve the study of the disposition of atoms in matter, of its causes, nature and consequences, of the methodologies and techniques involved in these studies.
For this purpose the Association encourage and support all the projects which develop contacts and interchanges between scientists working in different areas and exploiting the same methodologies as well as all those projects that contribute to the teaching and the scientific widespread of crystallography and crystal growth.
