AIC news: "Categorizing Halogen Bonding and Other Noncovalent Interactions Involving Halogen Atoms"

Sigüenza, Guadalajara, Spain - August 20-21, 2011

Dear Colleagues,

As you probably know, next summer the IUCr International Conference will
take place in Madrid. Associated to this event, there is a satellite meeting
that could be of your interest.

The meeting "Categorizing Halogen Bonding and Other Noncovalent Interactions
Involving Halogen Atoms" will be held in Sigüenza, Guadalajara, Spain on
August 20-21, 2011, as a satellite event to the IUCr2011 (Madrid) and under
the sponsorship of the IUPAC.

The Second Announcement, Registration and Hotel booking forms and Abstract
template are now posted for your kind attention. For more details, please

The completed forms should be submitted to the scientific secretariat of the
meeting (serena.biella@polimi.it; gabriella.cavallo@polimi.it) by the
deadline of April 15, 2011. Please be aware of the fact that participation
is limited to 50-60 registered participants. Every participant is requested
to present a communication, either oral or poster. We will be able to cover
local expenses of young researchers who do not have access to other funding
sources for attending the meeting. Please feel free to advertise this
meeting to your collaborators, but be aware of the fact that participation
is limited to 50-60 registered participants. Finally, there will be prizes
for the best poster presentations kindly sponsored by CrystEngComm,
ChemComm, Cryst. Growth Des., and Bruker.
